Fight inthe shade

Kranox is a self-custodial app for Monero wallets. Your keys stay on your device. Your money stays private.

No download yet. The first build runs on stagenet.

What Kranox stands for

  • Ink drawing of a Corinthian helmet with an orange crest.

    Private

Monero hides the sender, the receiver, and the amount of each transaction. Kranox keeps it that way.

  • Ink drawing of an open scroll with an orange ribbon.

    Open

The code of Kranox will be open. Anyone can read the code and check what it does.

  • Ink drawing of a round shield with the M of the Monero symbol, in front of a spear.

    Yours

Your seed and your keys stay on your device. No one else can move your money.

Kranox has one job: to guard what is yours. It does that job and stays out of the way.

The plan

Built to hold the line

These are the parts of the first release. Each part ships when it is solid.

Ink drawing of a hoplite who kneels and carves marks into a stone tablet.

A seed that only you hold

Kranox makes your wallet from a 25-word seed. The seed and the keys stay on your device. Kranox Labs cannot see them and cannot restore them for you.

  • 25-word seed
  • Keys on your device
  • No account
Ink drawing of a hoplite who guards a signal fire at night. More fires burn on distant peaks.

Your node, your rules

Kranox talks to the Monero network through a node. Point Kranox at your own node, or pick a node that you trust. The address is a setting that you control.

  • Custom node
  • Mainnet and stagenet
  • Connection status
Ink drawing of a long column of hoplites that marches through a mountain pass.

Sync that you can follow

To find your money, Kranox scans the chain. The scan starts at your restore height, runs in the background, and shows how far it is.

  • Restore height
  • Background sync
  • Clear progress

Send and receive XMR

Pay and get paid in Monero. Kranox gives you a new subaddress for each payment and keeps separate accounts inside one wallet.

  • Subaddresses
  • Accounts
  • Transaction history
  • Fee preview
